Connor Brown Signs One-Year Deal with Oilers

Brown Returns to Edmonton After Devastating Injury

Brown Aims to Regain Form After Tough Season

Connor Brown has signed a one-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers, the team announced Wednesday. The deal has an annual average value of $775,000, with potential bonuses of up to $3.225 million.

Brown, 28, is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who previously played for the Oilers from 2016 to 2021. He was traded to the Ottawa Senators in 2021 but returned to Edmonton as a free agent this offseason.

Brown's signing comes after a difficult season in which he struggled to regain his form following a devastating injury. He missed the first 25 games of the 2021-22 campaign due to a torn Achilles tendon and never fully found his footing upon his return.

Brown is determined to bounce back and prove that he can still be a valuable contributor to the Oilers. He joins a young and talented team that is looking to make a playoff run in 2023.
